About us
Where Ocean Treasures End Up As Keepsakes
Drift Cape Cod was created from a deep, intimate love of Cape Cod. Born from countless long beach walks along the iconic shorelines, the brand’s roots are firmly planted in the natural beauty and spirit of the region. We also repurpose items collected on worldwide travels and integrate them into our product line.
What began as a passion project quickly evolved into a creative hub, inspiring new and ever-emerging ideas for repurposing coastal items into meaningful keepsakes. Through Drift, cherished memories of the Cape are transformed into lasting pieces that celebrate its unique charm and history.
From oyster shell wreaths, to shell bag charms, magnets, urchin lamps and every product we create – love and passion go into each piece crafted by Drift Cape Cod.

Our Coastal Creations
We honor the Wampanoag Tribe who were the original custodians of this land
The Wampanoag (“People of the First Light”) are a Native American nation in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island with over 12,000 years of history. They are an Algonquin, historically semi-sedentary society known for farming the “three sisters” (corn, beans, squash), fishing, and using coastal resources.
Their worldview is rooted in a deep respect for nature and the environment, focusing on sustainability to ensure resources for future generations.
They used Quahog as currency. The wampum was made with purple and white beads cut from the inside purple ring that forms the inside of most Quahog clams and woven into belts.

No. I have collected shells everywhere I’ve been throughout the years and now and incorporating them into the pieces. There is a LOT of Cape Cod in the pieces – all the oyster shells and quahogs are local – the sand in the Dioramas is from Hyannisport – all the magnet shells and stones are collected from Hyannisport beaches. The glass beads are recycled glass beads sourced from a Bead supplier in CA. Of course everything is made here and doused in the salt air and Cape Cod vibes!
